Grab your rods and reels, it is time for Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy’s 3rd Annual Lowcountry Bottom Fishing Rodeo at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina! This year’s tournament include 11 species of fish is scheduled for the same weekend as Red Snapper season! Your one angler entry allows you to fish all 3 days of the tournament.
All proceeds benefit Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to be a light in the depth of pain and a hope in the day to day for first responders, individuals, and the community.
Entry Fees
Inshore / Bottom Fishing: $50 per angler
Inshore: flounder, red snapper, sea trout, sheepshead, spanish mackerel
Bottom Fish: amberjack, black sea bass, grouper, triggerfish, vermilion snapper
Offshore / King Mackerel: $100 per angler
Prizes
Bottom and Inshore Fish (based on 100 entries)
$500 for the largest bottom fish in each category
Top three largest fish in each category win a trophy
King Mackerel (based on 50 entries)
$2,000 & trophy: 1st largest fish
$1,000 & trophy: 2nd largest fish
$750 & trophy: 3rd largest fish
Top three largest fish win a trophy
Additional Categories
$500 for largest fish caught by a first responder
$300 for largest fish caught by a lady angler (18 years and older)
$300 for largest fish caught by a youth angler (under 18 years old)
